About

A few days ago I realized that I’ve done a largish amount of writing over the past couple of years, and that it might be useful to have it all conglomerated into one place. Not only would this be a place I could point raving fans of The Muse to, but it would also give me a chance to use the word ‘conglomerated’ without referring to spoiled milk.

I’ve transferred all of the articles I’ve written or assisted in writing from my time so far at The Whitworthian, Whitworth University’s student newspaper. The Whitworthian was awarded top non-daily student newspaper in the nation by the Society of Professional Journalists for 2009. The paper’s also won a variety of other awards. I personally took first place in Region 10 (basically the Pacific Northwest) for online opinions and commentary in 2009.

The Muse is my humor column that I began writing when I took over the Opinions section of The Whitworthian in 2009. It’s a lot of fun to write, and I’m told it’s a lot of fun to read. Enjoy.

The one category of articles I wrote published in The Whitworthian that aren’t here are my game reviews. Those can be found at my primary website, dualitygames.com.

There will also be a few miscellaneous other items; I dabble in fiction and am occasionally inspired to write a poem or song.

Please feel free to comment on any of these pieces, I welcome feedback of all kinds. Well, other than the nasty kind, I suppose. That’s not quite as welcome.

In addition to my job at The Whitworthian, I manage dualitygames.com, a blog dedicated to covering the video gaming industry. I also manage Game On, a PC gaming blog at The Washington Times Communities. As of May 2010, I am also freelancing for The Spokesman-Review, Spokane’s major daily newspaper.

I’m always looking for writing opportunities, freelance and otherwise. Feel free to shoot me an e-mail at dualitygames@gmail.com with any inquiries.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a spectaculous day.
